Day 1: Arrive Ushuaia

Arrive in Ushuaia, where you will be met by a representative of Aurora Expeditions and transferred to your assigned pre-voyage hotel. Check-in is from 3:00 pm. Visit the Aurora Expeditions hospitality desk in the lobby between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm to collect your luggage cabin tags and confirm details regarding your embarkation day. The remainder of your time is at leisure. All meals today are at your own expense.

Day 2: Embarkation

This morning, enjoy breakfast and check-out. Ensure your cabin luggage is fitted with cabin tags clearly labelled with your name and cabin number. Take your cabin luggage to hotel reception, prior to or at check-out. Your luggage will be stored and transferred directly to the port for clearance, to be placed in your cabin ahead of your arrival on board. Keep any valuables or personal items with you throughout the day. Spend your morning at leisure in Ushuaia. Meet at your hotel lobby at 3:45 pm to be transferred to the pier for embarkation. Once onboard, settle into your cabin before the mandatory briefings. Gather on the deck as the ship pulls away from port, celebrating the start of your adventure with a welcome dinner.

Day 3: At Sea

Commence your journey across the Drake Passage or towards the Falkland Islands, depending on the specific itinerary. Enjoy onboard facilities, including lectures and wildlife spotting.

Day 4: Falklands~Malvinas

Explore the historic Falkland Islands, known for their unique wildlife and history. Visit sites such as Stanley, the capital, and enjoy the island's scenic landscapes.

Days 5-6: At Sea

Continue your journey towards South Georgia. Use this time to relax onboard, attend lectures, or participate in wildlife spotting.

Day 7: At Sea / South Georgia

Approach South Georgia, preparing for landings and wildlife viewing. Depending on weather conditions, you may make your first landing in South Georgia today.

Days 8-11: South Georgia

Explore South Georgia, visiting the world's largest king penguin colonies and other wildlife hotspots. Enjoy Zodiac cruises and shore excursions to experience the island's unique landscapes and history.

Days 12-14: At Sea

Travel towards the Antarctic Peninsula. Attend lectures, enjoy onboard facilities, and prepare for your arrival in Antarctica.

Days 15-18: Antarctic Peninsula

Explore the western side of the Antarctic Peninsula and the South Shetland Islands. Participate in Zodiac excursions and landings to visit penguin rookeries, historic sites, and scenic viewpoints.

Days 19-20: At Sea

Begin your journey back to Ushuaia. Reflect on your experiences, attend final lectures, and enjoy the onboard facilities.

Day 21: Disembark Ushuaia

Arrive in Ushuaia early in the morning. Disembark around 8:00 am. Farewell your expedition team and fellow passengers as you continue your onward journey.
