Day 1

  • Arrive in and explore Ushuaia. This is the starting point of your journey, where you will have the opportunity to explore the southernmost city in the world.

Day 2

  • Embarkation. Board the ship and begin your journey to Antarctica.

Days 3-4

  • Cross the Drake Passage. This is a legendary passage known for its unpredictable weather and rich marine life. You will have opportunities to spot seabirds and possibly whales during this crossing.

Day 5

  • South Shetland Islands. Explore the islands, which are home to a variety of wildlife, including penguins and seals.

Days 6-8

  • Antarctica. Spend these days exploring the Antarctic Peninsula, visiting stunning bays and harbors, and maneuvering through majestic channels. You will have opportunities to see numerous species of penguins, seals, and whales, including Humpbacks, Minkes, and Orcas. There will also be visits to active scientific bases and historic landing sites.

Days 9-10

  • Return crossing of the Drake Passage. This is your chance to reflect on the experiences you've had while keeping an eye out for more marine life.

Day 11

  • Disembarkation in Ushuaia. After a final morning on board, disembark and either fly to Buenos Aires or stay in Ushuaia for more exploration.
