Day 1: Arrival in Punta Arenas, Chile

  • Arrive in Punta Arenas before 2 PM.

  • Transfer to your hotel.

  • Attend a mandatory briefing at Explorers House.

  • Welcome dinner with fellow travelers.

Day 2: Flight to Antarctica

  • Take a two-hour flight from Punta Arenas to King George Island.

  • Walk to the shore and board a Zodiac to reach your expedition vessel.

Day 3-6: Exploring Antarctica

  • Cruise along the Antarctic Peninsula, visiting sites such as the South Shetland Islands, Antarctic Sound, Gerlache and Penola Straits, and Crystal Sound.

  • Daily Zodiac excursions to explore wildlife and landscapes.

  • Expert guides lead landings and interpret the environment.

Day 7-9: Attempt to Reach the Polar Circle

  • Continue exploring the Antarctic Peninsula, aiming to reach the Polar Circle.

  • Flexibility in the itinerary to take advantage of weather conditions and wildlife sightings.

Day 9: Return to King George Island

  • Disembark at Fildes Bay and walk through Chile’s Frei Station and Russia’s Bellingshausen Station.

  • Board the flight back to Punta Arenas.

Day 10: End of the Air-Cruise

  • Arrive in Punta Arenas and transfer to your hotel.

  • Spend the day at leisure (meals not included).
