Day 2: Heading South

• Early morning flight to Ushuaia, the capital of Tierra del Fuego Province.

• Board the hybrid-powered expedition ship in Ushuaia.

• Settle into your cabin and explore the ship's amenities.

Day 3-4: Crossing the Drake Passage

• Two-day journey across the Drake Passage.

• Attend lectures by the Expedition Team on Antarctica's history, science, and environmental concerns.

• Participate in onboard Citizen Science projects.

• Relax in the spa, enjoy shipboard dining, and socialize with fellow travelers.

Day 5-13: Exploring Antarctica

• Spend nine days exploring the Antarctic region, visiting:

  • South Shetland Islands: Dramatic landscapes and diverse wildlife.

  • Antarctic Sound: Large tabular icebergs and habitat for Adélie penguins.

  • Weddell Sea: Historical exploration site and potential sightings of Emperor penguins.

  • Gerlache Strait: Sheltered waterways with iconic sights and wildlife.

  • Penola Strait: Remote area with abundant wildlife and exploration opportunities.

• Engage in activities like kayaking or snowshoeing.

• Flexible itinerary based on sea and ice conditions.

Day 14-15: Back through the Drake Passage

• Return journey across the Drake Passage.

• Continue learning with the Expedition Team and contribute to Citizen Science projects.

• Relax onboard or edit photos with the onboard photographer.

Day 16: Ushuaia and Buenos Aires

• Arrive back in Ushuaia and fly to Buenos Aires.
