Day 2: Embarkation

• Embark on the Sylvia Earle in Punta Arenas. Prepare for your journey to the Chilean Fjords and Antarctica.

Day 3: Chilean Fjords

• Sail along the legendary Beagle Channel and enjoy the splendid scenery of fjords and channels flanked by majestic mountains.

• Keep watch for seabirds and marine wildlife, including dolphins, sea lions, and whales preparing to migrate to Antarctica.

Day 4-5: Drake Passage Crossing

• Commence the Drake Passage crossing.

• The expedition team will prepare you for your first landing with important wildlife guidelines and biosecurity procedures.

• Enjoy lectures on Antarctica's history, wildlife, and environment.

• Watch for seabirds like albatrosses and giant petrels.

• Time and weather permitting, you may attempt your first landing in Antarctica by late afternoon on Day 4.

Day 6-10: Antarctic Peninsula

• Explore the Antarctic Peninsula.

• Activities may include Zodiac cruises, beach walks, and visits to penguin colonies.

• Witness extraordinary wildlife, including penguins, seals, and whales.

Day 11-12: Drake Passage Crossing

• Begin the return journey across the Drake Passage.

• Enjoy more lectures and wildlife viewing opportunities.

• Reflect on your experiences and prepare for your return to South America.

Day 13: Disembarkation in Ushuaia

• Disembark in Ushuaia, Argentina, marking the end of your expedition.
