Welcome to Ushuaia, the gateway to Antarctica. Arrive at Ushuaia Airport and take the included transfer to your hotel. Tonight, meet your fellow travelers and local team at a welcome meeting at about 6 pm to learn more about the journey ahead.
Day 2: Ushuaia to Beagle Channel
Enjoy a leisurely morning before transferring to the port of Ushuaia to board the Ocean Endeavour. Set sail through the historic Beagle Channel towards Antarctica. Meet your Expedition Team on board and settle into your cabin.
Days 3-4: Drake Passage
Cross the Drake Passage, known for its unpredictable and changing conditions. Attend talks and presentations by your Expedition Team, and enjoy the fresh sea air and wildlife spotting opportunities.
Days 5-8: Antarctic Peninsula and South Shetland Islands
Explore the Antarctic Peninsula and South Shetland Islands. Participate in daily Zodiac excursions and onshore landings to see penguins, seals, and whales. Enjoy educational lectures and take part in Citizen Science Projects.
Days 9-10: Return to Drake Passage
Begin the journey back to Ushuaia. Attend additional onboard lectures and enjoy a slideshow of images from your journey. Celebrate your adventure with fellow travelers and the Expedition Team.
Day 11: Ushuaia, Argentina
Disembark after breakfast. Transfer to Ushuaia Airport or downtown for further exploration.
