Day 2-3: Path of the polar explorers

• Cross the Drake Passage, a significant body of water between South America and Antarctica.

• This journey offers opportunities for bird-watching, including spotting albatrosses and petrels.

• Lectures and workshops on various Antarctic topics may be available during this time.

Day 4-7: Enter the Antarctic

• Danco Island: Activities may focus on gentoo penguins, Weddell seals, and crabeater seals.

• Neko Harbour: Offers Zodiac cruises and landings with views of glaciers and alpine peaks.

• Paradise Bay: Potential Zodiac cruises to see humpback and minke whales.

• Port Lockroy: Visit the former British research station, now a museum and post office, and meet gentoo penguins and blue-eyed shags.

Day 8: Scenes of South Shetland

• Explore the South Shetland Islands, which may include wildlife viewing and scenic cruising.

Day 9-10: Familiar seas, familiar friends

• Begin the journey back to Ushuaia, with continued opportunities for wildlife viewing and lectures.

Day 11: Ushuaia - There and back again

• Disembark in Ushuaia, concluding the voyage.
